This is just a simple song

If you see the title and are interested in it, you're most likely to be a fan of the TV show, how I met your mother. This song is played at the end of season finale of the eighth season. The whole season is filled with Ted's misery which gets worse and worse by each episode. However, this song is started and it feels like Ted is going to find something good and nice. Of course, he is as the next season is the final season. He's gonna find his girl that he's waiting for or the actress that all the viewers are waiting for. The lyrics are so meaningful and reflected the situation. It was the first time for me hearing this song but I at once googled it and listened to it. Some of them are embedded below.
